I am sixty-one years old. My Plan A fell through in my thirties. My Plan B was swindled from me in my forties. Plan C was the discovery that my Plan A and my life ambitions were coping mechanisms. Plan D is to consume Birthday Freebees. So far, a slice of cake from a diner and a huge iced-tea from National Coffee Chain. I have three days off in a row. I am loathe to purchase from The Huge River Online Store, but I did so through a portal which benefits this website:

Due to coping mechanism, I have trouble choosing anything for myself that is unrelated to writing or reading. I made the best of it. Purchased so far:

Books by Mary Roach, “Fuzz” and “Spook”.

And apparently the last extant copy of

which my late friends and I produced back in 2002. This was part of Plan A. I’ll share more of my comedy experiences with you in the coming months, seeing as now myself and a fellow named Joe are the last surviving producers. Here is a taste of the surreal kids’ show that was “Hellorama”.

On good days, I consider that if I lodged in even one stranger’s memory, then I have had a worthwhile life. Most days, I’m sitting drinking tea and wondering what I can do to top that.

There is no getting rich at creativity, at least with my difficulties and self-sabotage. The respect of my peers isn’t going to extend my life. Creativity is something I’m doing to entertain myself and help work out spiritual issues. I’m a little wiser for knowing this and it makes sitting and just existing a little more tolerable.
